Third graders visited the Art Junction this autumn to view the exhibit Southern Exposure –Artists Open Studio visits the Art Junction.
Students had the opportunity to view the work of artists from the Artists’ Open Studio in Norwalk, Ohio.
Students enjoyed seeing a variety of art, mediums and styles of artwork.
This was a great experience for students to see art in their community and to view art in a new context outside of the art classroom setting.
The Art Junction’s mission is to bring the community together for creative experiences, and this field trip really began to allow students to see a larger world beyond their classroom.
The third graders enjoyed their tour of the exhibit and learning about art in their community.
