Going digital

The Art Junction was recently working with students at the Willard Hope Center to give the students some experience with digital photography.

Everyone had fun learning how to use the digital cameras, taking selfies and silly photographs of each other with the many features of the cameras.

We will return in a few weeks after Art Camp to work with the students again as we photograph their local environment.

 

 

Art field trips

Last week the Art Junction hosted several field trips.

Kindergarten and first grade students viewed “The Last Richmond School Art Show” which featured art work from the 4th, 5th and 6th grade students at Richmond.

Students enjoyed viewing and engaging all of the various art work.

Richmond students also had the opportunity to visit their exhibit.

It was a great learning experience for students to see the sculpture, digital photography and paintings on exhibit.

Painting love

Students at the Willard Hope Center were exploring adding lettering to their images recently.

Students used stencils to transfer the letters to their canvases.

Field trips
