Art Camp Jr. was full of fun and activity as everyone explored many traditional and new art mediums and techniques.
Students began the day with a lettering project based on their name that explored size, color and brush work.
Learning to use ink with a brush was a new experience for the students.
Everyone enjoyed learning how to use spray paint as they had the opportunity to work on our outdoor mural.
We also painted some rocks.
We also explored bag painting.
Campers used plastic bags as a tool for applying paint to a large board.
Everyone had the opportunity to add their favorite color to a base of white paint to create a wonderful tinted color.
Finally the campers began creating bugs out of found materials.
We worked on a lot of projects and began many ideas that will be completed in one form or another on day 2 of Art Camp Jr.
Everyone had fun and enjoyed their creative experience with anticipation of day 2 and the completion of their art work!
