Completion

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Wednesday afternoon students worked hard to complete their monoprints.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Everyone added details with lines, shapes and various mediums to complete their images.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Students incorporated colored pencil, acrylic paint, and marker to create wonderful mixed media monoprints.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Here are examples of the students’ work as they used pop art imagery for their ideas.

Non-traditional printmaking

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Wednesday afternoon art students explored printmaking recently.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Students made a series of circle prints using cups and ink.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Everyone created a different pattern of circles.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Many repeated the shape and allowed it to overlap other circles.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

After creating many variations of circle prints we left them to dry.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Next we explored thumb printing with ink.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Everyone explored various shapes with the thumb.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Next we added marker to complete our thumb images.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Print making

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Wednesday afternoon art students have been exploring printmaking.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Students were using their Keith Haring-like shapes to create their prints.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

It was a fun yet challenging experience for everyone.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

The mono-prints will be used to create a bigger image from the beginning prints made at this session.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

It will be fun to see what the prints emerge into as the process continues.
