Landscape painting

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

We had an enjoyable time at our landscape painting workshop.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Everyone jumped into the creative process as they began with their sky in their painting.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Learning to control the brush was one skill we explored.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Next we added the ground to our image.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Adding trees to the paintings was the next step.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Everyone put their own unique touch to their landscape.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Signing their work was the final step of the workshop.

Here are some examples of the completed landscapes.

All involved had fun.

Expressive painting

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

The expressive painting class was very successful this summer.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

All of the participants were very motivated to explore and complete their paintings.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Everyone had a different idea and method as they approached their project.  Some completed their paintings while others were still in the process, but everyone grew in their skill and knowledge in the creative process.  Maybe you can join us for our next painting class!

Hope and Love

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Students at the Willard Hope Center completed their “Love”paintings this summer.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

The last step to this fun project was to add some clear gloss to the paintings to add a shine.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

The paintings will be sold in a silent auction at the 2015 Hope Fest on August 16.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

The funds raised from the sale of the students’ paintings will go to fund activities at the Hope Center.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

The students did an excellent job with their mixed media paintings.
