2013 Diversity Exhibition

On January 20, 2013 the Art Junction held its first Diversity Exhibition.

We had images displayed from the Willard Hope Center.

Students from the Willard City Schools Elementary Art Department also had their collaborative work on display.

Our Town Studios in Mt. Vernon submitted this image of Dr. King for the exhibition.

Celeryville Christian School and Stockyard Elementary in Cleveland submitted many wonderful images of  Dr. King and his dream of freedom, equality and diversity for our country.

We also had the opportunity to display images by local and regional artists along with the students’ work.

Community-based art education brings together a wide variety of community to celebrate, inspire and build a working understanding of the wonderful diversity of our community and country.

DSCN6497The Art Junction gallery was ablaze with bright colors on a bleak mid-winter January.

If you were unable to join us this year, plan on next year to create some art to celebrate the diversity of our community, and join us for this wonderful artistic celebration of diversity.  Help keep the dream of Dr. King alive!
