The final drawing class for the winter session began with a quick succession of drawing exercises.
Students were introduced to many of the drawing concepts from Betty Edwards book Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain.
This course was designed to give individuals a reawakened understanding of drawing and the concepts behind seeing what one is wanting capture in a drawing.
Learning to see, to really look at something instead of listening to what your brain tells you something looks like is a huge benefit from participating in a drawing class.
Growing in confidence in your personal skill and ability to push your drawing skills is another benefit from collective learning in a drawing class.
I hope you will join us for future drawing classes as we learn together to see the world that is before us.
A drawing is simply a line going for a walk. -Paul Klee
Drawing is still basically the same as it has been since prehistoric times. It brings together man and the world. It lives through magic. -Keith Haring
